Your Sound, Our Passion
Studio work is where we got our start. Brian's dream was always to do music and run a studio. So this is a passion project for us. We want to make your band sound as good as you can sound. We have state of the art equipment including a Midas M32 for up to 40 channels of simultaneous recording, several tube amps, pro level drums and cymbals, and a variety of other instruments and musical goodies to help bring your project to life.
We have flexible hours and rates to accommodate a wide variety of projects.
Sound Design
We have a full size Midas M32 that utilizes the award winning Midas PRO Series preamps to multitrack your whole band. We also have a variety of amplifiers to dial in the sound you're looking for.
Mics
We have an extensive list of microphones to make your next track a hit. This includes a matched pair of AKG C451Bs to get all of your crispy percussion stuff sounding the right way as well as a wide selection of dynamic and condenser mics to capture your voice the way it was meant to be heard. Instruments
Our instrument collection is always growing. From guitars to the Ranat Ek, we have a large list of instruments for you to use on your project. We have 2 DW collectors series drum sets, a portfolio of high end cymbals (including my personal favorite, a Zildjian K Custom Dark Complex Ride), a timpani, a wide selection of guitars and pedals, and more.
Artist Spotlight, Skipper
We've worked extensively with local RVA hardcore band, Skipper, and have had the privelege of recording their 3 song project, "3 Song EP." Their high energy hardcore screamo music, described as "RVA Scramgaze" by Hell's Door, is a fast paced kick in the ass that will get you off your feet and moshing faster before you understand what's going on.
